The JW Marriott Camelback Inn, Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, Hermosa Inn and Montelucia are the town’s flagship luxury resorts with world-class spas and pools. Paradise Valley Country Club offers 180 acres of golf, tennis and swimming facilities to members with both casual and formal dining in the clubhouse. The golf course was designed by Lawrence Hughs in 1953 and has hosted state championship events, with PGA tour pro Tom Purtzer among the players and champions. The course is always immaculate and the surrounding desert and mountains picturesque. Camelback Golf Club and Mountain Shadows Golf Club are just outside Paradise Valley but within miles.


As some of the founding Paradise Valley establishments, El Chorro and Lon’s at the Hermosa offer fine dining in a casual yet upscale environment, right in the heart of Paradise Valley. In fact, these restaurants have such a following that people travel across the Phoenix Metro area just to take in the magnificent views while dining on some of the best patios in the area.


Miles from Ordinary Yet Close to the Action

While residents often need to venture out of Paradise Valley for more dining options, shopping and services, they don’t need to go far for the best in the area. Scottsdale Fashion Square, Biltmore Fashion Park, the Esplanade, Arcadia, Old Town Scottsdale and the Borgata are all just minutes away. For jet setters, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Scottsdale Airpark are both about 20 minutes away.


Lay of the Land

Phoenix Country Day is a well-known, high-achieving private school for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade that is located within Paradise Valley.
